"As skin symptoms are often derived from an internal problem, for me it is personally important to follow a complex, so-called holistic approach."

Introduction

After my general medical studies at Semmelweis University, I started working at the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Dermatooncology of Semmelweis University in 2009. During my years of vocational training, I carried out a research on photodermatology at the Max Planck Institut in Munich. I passed my dermatology, venereology and cosmetic dermatology exam in 2015 with an excellent qualification. I completed a Good Clinical Practice training in 2016, and in 2017 I was appointed as a teaching assistant at the University. In 2019 I successfully passed a written exam and an oral presentation to senior AAAM faculty and I became a board certified member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. I completed my PhD in 2020, with the research topic "The role of ultraviolet radiation in experimental and clinical dermatology".

In my opinion, thorough examination and detailed medical history registration are two of the most important parts of healthcare services, especially in case of dermatological conditions. As skin symptoms are often derived from an internal problem, for me it is personally important to follow a complex, so-called holistic approach. I specialised in the treatment of both acute and chronic skin diseases. Apart from striving to make every patient symptom-free I also put a great emphasis on prevention; preserving skin health and thus supporting general health on the long run. That is also why at least a yearly screening test is recommended for everyone. These include mole screening which is really important nowadays as skin tumours - that are becoming more and more common and affecting the younger generations as well – can be prevented or recognised at an early stage. I consider this as one the most important missions of dermatological care. The examination and treatment of sexually transmitted infections is another important part of dermatology. It is essential for the preservation of sexual health as its disruption can lead to serious psychological consequences. I also follow a preventive approach in skincare: treatment of dry, sensitive skin, local treatment for the prevention of various infections, the selection and use of proper cosmetics and sun protection. I strive to set up the most appropriate, individual therapeutic plan for each patient, be it a treatment or an aesthetic intervention. Cosmetic dermatological treatments with aesthetic purposes are preceded by a consultation to identify the patient’s needs. My goal is to find and apply a discrete, modern solution that meets the patient’s requirements and results in a natural look.

I am experienced in the treatment of various dermatological diseases, including psoriasis, hydradenitis suppurativa, acne, rosacea, seborrhoea, eczema, atopic dermatitis, pediatric dermatology and hair diseases. Melanoma screening is a cornerstone of dermatooncology, as it plays an important role in both prevention and early detection of malignancies.

Aesthetic dermatology

Facial beautification and aesthetic treatments. Applying modern solutions for a natural look in line with the patient's needs.

Sexually transmitted infections

A special area (which used to be called sexually transmitted diseases, today known as sexually transmitted diseases, infections - STD / STI) has always been an integral part of dermatology from the very beginning. Due to the nature of these diseases, in addition to an accurate and reliable diagnostic background, it is important to have intimate atmosphere at the Clinic with open-minded, unbiased professional medical staff. This is what I personally believe in and this attitude is typical of all doctors and colleagues working at our Clinic.
